The Dent Schoolhouse
The Dent Schoolhouse is one of the most detailed haunted attractions you will find in the nation. The schoolhouse uses Hollywood style animatronics, sets, actors, and make-up; making it one of America’s best haunted attractions. It’s like reliving a horror movie! Classified as haunted, the Dent Schoolhouse was actually a school that opened up in 1894 and has a grizzly past. Guests of Dent get to watch the story of it’s murderous Janitor and why locals have coined the term “hell’s basement” for the school’s basement. For 2011, haunt seekers get to enter never before seen rooms of the school’s basement making it 1/3 the size larger than last year! The Janitor’s workshop, boiler room, the Janitor’s bedroom, and the Janitor’s student holding cell are some of the many new rooms that customers can witness! Plus, Detention Hall, a militarized zone with a zombie outbreak themed maze, is included with every Dent ticket!
This haunt was featured on the 2008 Midwest Haunters Convention bus tour.
